Warning: My Online Shopping Nightmare & The BOGO Trap! 😤
I'm writing this review to warn everyone about my absolutely terrible online shopping experience. It was so frustrating that I felt compelled to share it. This company is simply dishonest, they don't honor their promos, and their website is full of glitches, making it impossible to collect offers. There's no customer service available 24 hours, and it feels like there's no real agent to talk to. This whole situation was unprofessional, and it really made me feel like I needed to reach out to them directly to sort it out. I just can't believe their proposed solution was to return the glasses—even though they were the correct style and prescription—just so I could return and reorder to get the BOGO deal they messed up and admitted to. A simple credit back to my card would have been so much easier, but apparently, that's 'too easy' for them.
Customer: Hello, I'm calling about an order I placed. I tried to use a buy-one-get-one-free promotion, but it didn't apply, and now I have two pairs of glasses for the price of two. CS Rep: I apologize for the issue you've encountered with your promotion. Can I please have your order number so I can look into this for you? Customer: Yes, it's [Order Number]. The website was glitching when I tried to apply the promo, and I couldn't get it to work. I even tried again, and it just didn't register. CS Rep: Thank you. I see the order here. It appears the BOGO promotion wasn't applied correctly at checkout. We can arrange a return for both pairs, and then you can place a new order to ensure the BOGO discount is applied properly. Customer: But these glasses are already the correct style and prescription. Why do I need to return them and then reorder? Can't you just credit the difference back to my card?
