Paid for Express, Waited 19+ Days: My GlassesUSA Nightmare 😡
I'm writing this to warn others about my frustrating experience with GlassesUSA. I needed a new pair of glasses urgently, so I paid extra for their 3-5 day express shipping, but the whole ordeal was a masterclass in terrible service. In the end, this is how I felt: "Terrible company. Ordered glasses March 30th, paid for express shipping 3-5 because my old glasses broke. Day 5 roles around still in production, day 10 still in production. Day 11 I call to ask for a shipping refund, they seemed like they do it all the time by the way she responded. So i got the 10$ in shipping but these glasses are STILL 6 days out on delivery. Stop giving terrible companies your money let them die out because someone doesnt give a crap about their customers and I will telling all my four eyed friends to never shop here. Terrible terrible terrible. Day 19 or whatever still no glasses!!!" After more than a week with no updates, I had to contact their customer service.
Customer: Hi, I'm calling about my order. It's been 11 days. I paid for 3-5 day express shipping because my old glasses broke. Why is it still in production?
CS Rep: I'm very sorry to hear about the delay. I understand how urgent this is for you. Can I please have your order number to look into this?
Customer: It's [Order Number]. This is unacceptable for an 'express' order. I want a refund for the shipping fee. This is ridiculous.
CS Rep: You are absolutely right, and I sincerely apologize. I am processing a full refund for your $10 shipping fee right now. I see your glasses are estimated to be shipped within two business days.
Customer: Two more days just to ship? So it'll be almost three weeks for a 3-5 day order. This is the last time I order from you.
CS Rep: I completely understand your frustration. The shipping charge has been refunded to your original payment method. You will receive a tracking email the moment your order leaves our facility.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
