I'm writing this to warn other potential buyers about my incredibly frustrating experience. I was lured in by a BOGO promotion, but the website was so full of glitches that it failed to apply the discount at checkout. My honest feeling is that this company is dishonest and doesn't honor promos. They make it impossible to collect an offer when the site is full of glitches. There's no 24-hour customer Service, no agent, just unprofessionalism. This forced me to contact their customer service to try and resolve their technical error.
Customer: Hi, your website had a glitch and didn't apply the BOGO offer to my order. I was charged for both pairs of glasses. I need you to credit me back for the second pair.
CS Rep: I understand your frustration, and I apologize for the trouble the website caused. To fix this, you will need to return both pairs, and we can help you place a new order with the discount correctly applied.
Customer: That's a ridiculous solution. You want me to return glasses that have the correct style and prescription, just to reorder them? Why can't you just credit my card for the amount you overcharged me?
CS Rep: I'm very sorry, but our system does not allow us to issue a partial refund to apply a promotion after an order has been processed. The return and reorder process is our standard procedure.
Customer: That's an unacceptable and unprofessional policy. You admit your site messed up, but you're making me do all the work to fix it. I will not be a customer again.
